Each Community Canine Area (dog park) in Arlington has a sponsoring group, that helped to make the park an official county park. They are responsible for the maintenance and improvements of the park, and making sure the users of the park are satisified. Towers Park has a current working group, in addition to the sponsoring group, that formed in response to the poisonings that threatened the safety of the dogs and their owners.
